Although phone support is available 24 hours a day, navigating through MetroPCS's menus is a hassle and you won't always get accurate information. MetroPCS improved its customer service in our testing, though it still has a long way to go to match T-Mobile. The ZTE Zmax Pro is a MetroPCS-exclusive. That costs another $10 per month to lift. Paying up for MetroPCS's $60 unlimited plan adds 10GB of LTE hotspot data, but you still have restrictions on video streaming. T-Mobile had a average download speed of 23.5 Mbps nationally, compared with 22.1 Mbps for MetroPCs. You also get to call Canada and Mexico and text internationally.But there can be limitations on just how much MetroPCS customers benefit from T-Mobile's network. However, Verizon offers mobile hotspot, something that's not included with the Cricket or MetroPCS plans. Cricket and MetroPCS have no such restriction, though the former limits the speed of that high-speed data to 3Mbps. ![]() The big "gotcha" in Verizon's plan: Each line gets just 3GB of high-speed data.
